Before This 1950's ranch house started with a cramped kitchen,  separate dining room and lifeless cabinets.	After This view of the same sink and window,  from a different angle, shows how a qualified designer and remodeler can transform an ordinary kitchen into a warm and inviting space.
A weekend retreat for a Houston family, this "barn" in Fredericksburg also contains a 1500SF living area.
This open plan was once "cozy" with 7' ceiling, recessed fluorescent lights, and two level bar. Higher ceiling with warmer lights, rock accent wall and usable tile peninsula makes this a favorite spot in the house.
